Murphy's Law in Action

Is is a bad idea to climb a tall mountain right in the path of a Category 4 typhoon?
So I guess Fuji's out for this weekend.
Even when I leave Florida, I can't get away from Hurricane troubles. I'm working on a theory that I am the reason that hurricanes hit Florida, and also the reason that the Gators don't win championships. Counterexamples are welcome.

Yes, another example of "discretion is the better part of valor"--too bad you didn't get to make the climb. Maybe while we're there? Anyhow, all you'd have seen from the peak today was clouds. Something to go back for!

Hey, maybe we could do Mt. Fuji and Kyoto instead of so much time in Tokyo? So much to do, so little time.

Love ya,
Mom

Thanks for the comments, guys. Wow, there was that earthquake, too. I felt that one in Gunma this morning. It was pretty big. So, I guess the landmass of Japan itself just really doesn't want me to climb Mt. Fuji. Like, enough to whip up not only a kamikaze, but also an earthquake big enough to raze houses. Japan's all like, "That's RIGHT! I will PROTECT this HOUSE!"
